Steps for Preparing to Workout Again.
Hello friends! I am very excited about this newsletter because I am currently trying to figure out the steps for me, personally, to start working out again. As I’m writing this last minute at 6:00a.m. I am listening to Big Sean “Paradise” (check it out). And realizing how important music is to my journey. Which is fun, because a couple newsletters ago, I asked the question, what are you listening to? Since then, I’ve been listening to professional athletes, fitness influencers I trust and good music.
It’s okay to be influenced, inspired and intrigued by others. When going through a rut, I encourage you to seek out others that are doing what you want to be doing. Listen, be patient and try for yourself.
Try for yourself, oooh yeah I like the way that sounds. To be honest i’m not a fan of the “pick a goal” method, because regular people that need to exercise don’t always have or need a goal… it doesn’t have to be that complex. Sometimes, it can be simple.
I am going to challenge you to let it be simple, can you do that for me today? Just sweat today, do 100 jumping jacks, take breaks until you get there. Then do 50 squats, 50 crunches, etc., Luckily for you, I have a BUNCH of workouts on this very website for you to try.
How about today, we don’t expect anything spectacular to happen, how about today we choose to put in the work. #sweattoday.
